Found this from BBC Click website. Beware, facebook users. Your accounts and personal details can be grabbed by malicious web developers. BBC Click tried to steal some personal details, messages, wall posts etc using an application and it was a grand success. So when you add an application you are entering into a public space where you may be exposed to your birthday suit. There is nothing you can do. The only way to be safe is not to add any applications. And I would add not to use any social networking websites.
